The collection found at Alvaralto Nursery consists of aprroximately 3,000 varieties of plants, both potted and grown from the ground. There are outdoor gardens of plants, flowers and cacti, as well as three small enclosed greenhouses, ranging between 400 and 200 square meters. The morning hours are when most of the maintenence and work is completed at the nursery, as a result, tours and visits must be made during the afternoon hours, beginning at 14:00 hours. Tours cost $15.000 for groups of up to five people. The staff can host up to two groups simultaneously, with separate guides. The premices are open Monday through Saturday.
